Q. Is there an admission charge to the farm?
A. Crawford Farms has two areas, the Barnyard Marketplace and Sprigg's Playland and Petting Zoo. The Barnyard Marketplace is our store - the place to buy pumpkins, fall decor and snacks. Sprigg's Playland and Petting Zoo contains our corn mazes, slides, petting zoo, nature trail and other attractions. There is no charge to enter the Barnyard Marketplace. There is a fee to enter Sprigg's Playland and Petting Zoo. Admission prices may be found here.
Q. When are hayrides given?
A. Hayrides are generally offered every 30 minutes on weekends, and at least every two hours beginning at 2pm on weekdays, depending on demand. During Fall Break October 6-10, hayrides begin at 11 am and are offered at least hourly.
Q. How does a Season Pass work?
A. For less than two daily admissions you can purchase an individual season pass. This pass allows for unlimited visits during regular business hours. Season passes do not include the barrel train, hayride or animal feed. The pass is non-transferable.
Q. Is smoking allowed at Crawford Farms?
A. Due to diversity of flammable materials at the farm and for the comfort of all visitors, smoking is not allowed anywhere at Crawford Farms.
Q. Can pumpkins be picked from the patch?
A. Yes, guests are permitted to pick their own pumpkins from one of our pumpkin patches. See a Crawford Farms attendant for more information.
Q. How are pumpkins priced?
A. All produce and decoration items are priced by the piece. Prices are marked so no surprises like at some other places where items are sold by the pound.
Q. How much are pumpkins?
A. Pumpkins vary in size, shape, color and supply. All factors go into pricing, but aside from the giant 100+ pounders or premium glossed pumpkins, minis start at $1, most range in price from $4-$10 with good sized jack-o-lanterns usually running $5-$8.
Q. Is there a charge to take pictures?
A. There is no charge to take pictures. Many of our photo ops are in our Barnyard Marketplace which has no admission fee, however some are in pay areas so an admission fee for guests including photographers is required if wanting to take pictures in those areas.
Q. Does Crawford Farms have restrooms?
A. Portable toilets, including one that is handicap accessible, are available for use by our guests. Multiple sinks and sanitizer stations are available as well.
Q. Are pets allowed at Crawford Farm?
A. Dogs are allowed at Crawford Farms as long as they are up to date on vaccinations and are of good temperament. Guests bringing dogs are required to sign a document of responsibility that lists permissible pet areas and relays the liability they accept in the event of negative interactions. Keep in mind, pets often disturb the livestock in the petting zoo and can make other visitors uneasy. Of course, certified assistance animals are always welcome, but we still ask they be signed in.
